My Contemporary Fine Jewellery is inspired by traditional head ornament, especially, that of Korea and Britain.
I believe that jewellery is the manifestation of dream which indicates power, wealth, hope and happiness. Jewels have compensated for three of man’s basic insecurities: vanity, superstition and the desire for material wealth. Jewellery’s glitter, colour and beautiful elements seem to stimulate man’s spirit. I consider that what we can create represents all of the people’s desire which is power, wealth and happiness. Then I found that could be a hair ornament such design can include, for example, a tiara and may involve the use of materials such as silver, non precious stone beads, fabric with technique of intricate hand piecing, traditional jewellery making skills and beading.
